Wilmington Historical Society at the Festival Of the Colors
Theme: Whiteface Mountain Outdoor Activities
10 am to 4 pm, Wilmington Ball Park on Springfield Rd.
This Saturday September 13th the Whiteface Mountain Regional Visitors Bureau will hold its 5th Annual Festival of Colors at the Wilmington Ball Park located on Springfield Road. There will be fun for everyone with lots of entertainment featuring Pipsqueak the Clown at 11AM and music provided by Zip City from 1-4 PM.
Fifty vendors will be on hand featuring crafts, furniture, local specialties, clothing, produce and herbal products with much more! Face painting, pumpkin painting and balloon sculpting will be sure to occupy the children. Free Masonic Child ID’s will be provided sponsored by the Mountain Brook Lodge. Visit with Alpacas from the “Alpaca Shop” in Jay and pony cart rides will be provided by “Personal Ponies”. The food tent will provide BBQ fair. A Tug of War between the Wilmington and Jay Town crews as well as a Pie Baking contest will add to the fun! Please drop pies off between 10am & noon. Judging will take place between 1 & 3pm. Pie slices will be sold with proceeds going to the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Wilmington.
