We would like to thank all of our sponsors, swag item donors, raffle donors, Whiskey distilleries, Craft Fair participants, the Moonshine Hollow Bluegrass Band, the War of 1814 Commemoration, Inc., food vendors—Two Jerks BBQ, Tammy’s Lunchbox, Cosmic Cloud, and Mr. Ding-A-Ling—and over 50 volunteers for all their hard work in making the 2025 Whiskey Run & Festival a success !

The top three overall male finishers in the 5k were Micah McCulley of Vermontville, NY (1st place, time16:13.19), Nicholas Terramiggi of Oswego, NY (2nd place, time 17:30.51), and Jonah Kendall of Tupper Lake, NY (3rd place, time 17:43.00). In the women’s 5K, the top three finishers were Erin Rasco of Peru, NY (1st place, time18:49.63), 2nd place, Shobha Sidigonde of Wilmington, NY (time 22:04.59) and Rebecca Milde of Mattapoisett, MA (3rd place, time 22:36.82). The top three overall male finishers in the 10k were Sean Rose of Peru, NY (1st place, time 40:13.79) , Michael Kubiak of Manassas, VA (2nd place, time 41:10.94), and Phillip Trafficanda of Wantagh, NY (3rd place, time 41.53.76). In the women’s 10K, the top three finishers were Syd Steger of Lake Placid, NY (1st place, time 40:52.62 ), Lily Shelley of Binghamton, NY (2nd place, time 42:58.01) and Elizabeth Izzo of Lake Placid, NY (3rd place, 44:24.31). Proceeds from the races benefit the Wilmington Historical Society’s building fund.

The weather was perfect! We appreciate all those who attended the Festival, purchased raffle tickets and other sale items and hope you enjoyed our celebration and fundraiser. We look forward to another great Whiskey Run & Festival next year- June 20th, 2026!
